Every tape plays in real time on real equipment. I watch every transfer and note anything unusual.
Files on USB drive or download link. Your original tapes come back with them.
YOUR TAPES ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.
Magnetic tape doesn't last. Binder breakdown, mold, shed — the deterioration is physical and irreversible. I’ll be honest with you: Most tapes that were recorded well and stored well still play well. We don’t know how long that will be the case. The window is open right now. It won't stay open.

I'm Scott. I'm a former broadcaster who’s been collecting old video formats since the early 1980s and digitizing home tape for the public since 2019. I do every transfer myself on real hardware, including a Panasonic AG-1980, and a Time Base Corrector to correct the inherent wobbliness of tape media. No outsourcing. You get your tapes back, your files delivered, and a straight answer about anything that came up during the transfer.
